At M & M we provide great fishing packages on beautiful Rend Lake, Lake of Egypt, Crab Orchard Lake and Kinkaid Lake. We guide for crappie and bass on all four lakes and have a tremendous amount of success doing so.

Guided Fishing Special

We are currently offering a Guided Fishing Special. The special is $200 per boat, meaning $100 per person. Trip includes: Boat,Tackle, Gas, Bait, Drinks, and will clean and package your fish. This is an 8 hour fishing trip, in which we will stop and hour for lunch. We also have a GREAT lodging rate through the resort if you choose to stay with us after or before your trip. The room rate is $83.00 per room, double occupancy. That is $42.00 per person. With a fully guided fishing trip and a night stay at the beautiful Rend Lake Resort (see lodging tab above) the cost comes to: $142.00 per person TOTAL! We stay mainly on Rend Lake for the crappie, as the lake has numerous fish in the 10 to 12 inch mark and several up to 15 inches. This lake provides fisherman with the opportunity to catch numerous fish as the lake has an abundant crappie population. In case you have never eaten a crappie it may be the best tasting freshwater fish there is.

We take the majority of our bass trips to Lake of Egypt. This lake is a power plant lake that has a hot water input and provides the warmer water it takes for the fish to stay active year round. This lake is a great lake early in the spring, as it produced several fish over the 10 pound mark last year and one just under the state record of 13 pounds. With M & M we provide a guide service that caters to the fisherman's needs 100%. We provide the boat, tackle, gas, and the knowledge to let our customers have a great fishing trip. We also clean and package your fish when we are done fishing. When we do this, tips are appreciated for this service.

We also offer fishing packages to Kinkaid Lake for muskie, bass, and crappie. Kinkaid Lake is located in midst of the beautiful Shawnee National Forest and is a tremendous fishery. Lake Kinkaid is known for its abundant 2 pound plus crappie and also its great bass fishing. But perhaps your best opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetime is in its Muskie fishing. This waterway is a very deep lake with the best scenic views of any Lake in Southern Illinois.

We now offer fishing packages to Crab Orchard Lake. This is a lake known for great crappie and bass fishing. Early spring patterns for both species on this lake can make for big fish and a lot of them. This lake produces many bass over the 7 pound range and many crappie over 2 pounds.

All pricing is based on 2 fishermen per boat. A third fisherman will add another $50 for a full day and $25 for a half day.

During a full day trip to Rend or Lake of Egypt we stop around lunch time to either eat at the restaurant on the lake or we will provide a lunch for the customers.
