Rend Lake
Went out on 8 hour trip today. I had three fisherman and we caught tons of fish but kept 73 total. Most of our fish were in the 9 3/4 to 10 1/4 in range with one HUGE male crappie. He was 15 inches and almost 1.5. Have the same group tomorrow. The bushes are back to being 2.5 feet deep and we are catching the fish 18 inches down with slip cork and minnow. The fish are on the backside of the bushes and around the flooded trees. Several good fish came out of cattails and were WAY back in them. I have a couple openings at the end of the month if anyone is interested as the fishing will only get better.
